Our Team

Ted Stolberg

Mr. Stolberg is the Founder and Managing Partner of Stolberg Equity Partners, with oversight for all of the firm's investment and operating activities. Since founding the firm in 1994, Mr. Stolberg has raised over $180MM of capital across three separate private equity funds. Mr. Stolberg currently sits on the board of portfolio company Alpine Access, the leading provider of customer care solutions utilizing at-home agents.

Prior to founding Stolberg Equity Partners, Mr. Stolberg was a partner at Weiss, Peck & Greer (WPG), a New York-based merchant bank. Mr. Stolberg led WPG's corporate development group where he managed four successive private equity funds. Before joining WPG, Mr. Stolberg was a Vice President in the corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions department at First Boston Corporation.

Mr. Stolberg holds an MBA from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College. In addition to his leadership role at Stolberg Equity Partners, Mr. Stolberg is the founder and chairman of The Beanstalk Foundation, a Colorado non-profit that provides funding, administration, support, and knowledge to promote acts of generosity within local communities.

Diana Crabtree

Ms. Crabtree is the CFO of Stolberg Equity Partners, where she manages the accounting, reporting, and tax preparation for the firm's three private equity funds. As a Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Crabtree also owns and operates her own tax and financial consulting business. She recently published her first book, Money For Teenagers, that provides an introductory financial education for young people.

Prior to joining Stolberg Equity Partners, Ms. Crabtree was the Accounting Manager at Centennial Ventures, a Denver-based venture capital firm, where she managed the financial reporting of seven funds totaling more than $1 billion in capital. She began her career as a Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she supervised audits for consumer product clients.

Ms. Crabtree earned Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accountancy degrees from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business. In addition, Ms. Crabtree is the Co-President of Minds Matter of Denver, a non-profit mentoring organization for high-achieving and motivated youth from low-income families.
